Healing & Hope

Discover healing this year at the 3rd Annual Wisconsin Walk for Hope.  The event is free for or anyone who has lost a child (of any age).  This year we have invited a special guest (Alan Pedersen) to come and share his experience, strength, and hope.  Alan is a national speaker on grief/loss and is also a singer and songwriter.  We look forward to hearing from him and we pray that he shares a special touch of healing with those of us who are grieving.  There will also be several other activities and crafts for people who attend.  If you have lost a child, young or old, recently or long ago, we hope you will be apart of the 3rd Annual Wisconsin Walk for Hope!

Hope for Another Day!

The First Annual Wisconsin Walk for Hope (2010) was a blessing for many people!  We shared our tears, our laughter, and experienced  a touch of healing, even if only for a moment.

As we move forward this year in search for healing and purpose, we pray for strength, grace, and hope for another day.  Often times the pain we experience from losing our child is so overwhelming, that it seems like we can’t go on.  All though we feel like this, much of the time, we press onward with hope in hearts… To one day see them again!  If you are struggling today, we pray you find some comfort in knowing, you are not alone!  Although each story is unique, we share a common bond of grief that is familiar to those of us who has lost a child.

If you are mourning today, then we mourn with you and if you are rejoicing with sweet memories, then we rejoice with you, also!  No matter what we feel, on any given day;  we are right where we are supposed to be in our personal process of grief!

Memorial Wall

In loving memory of our children, Wisconsin Walk for Hope has started a Memorial Wall to honor them.  If you would like to share your thoughts, memories, or hopes; please visit our memorial page and leave a comment on the Wall.  We hope, through sharing in unity;  We will help eachother heal as we walk along this painful road of grief together.
